Geyserland Observatory

Is a small Amateur Observatory. Situated in Rotorua New Zealand -38.13589 South and -176.2038 East. The Instruments are: Losmandy G-11 German Equatorial Mount with a Gemini GoTo system, controlled via a computer running "TheSky" and "CCD Soft". On top of the G-11 is a 10" Meade Telescope and a 3" Vixen Refractor. The Meade Scope has a JMI Smartfocus and a SBIG ST-237A CCD Camera, the Vixen Scope has a PC 164 C Video Camera, connected to a TV for monitoring the pointing of the system and the occasional timing of Lunar and Asteroid occultation. The whole system can either be controlled from the Observatory Computer or via a LAN connection from inside my office in the house. The software used by the computers ist "The Sky 6 Professional Version", "CCDSoft Version 5", "Astrometrica Version 4.4" and "Astroplanner" Geyserland Observatory is well into Photo and Astrometry of Asteroids and Variable Stars.
